The Gallery

These are pictures of cars I have owned at some point in time. Some pictures may appear in odd sizes as they are old archive photo's from days gone by.

It's a shame I couldn't have kept them all, but there is never enough space, time or money to keep them up to scratch.

Watch this space, I might have to add some customers cars in here soon, I am delighted to be working on some fantastic vehicles.

My '62 Beetle Project My projects The Gallery Useful Links
My old '65, Featured in VolksWorld 2001. Way too much time & £££'s
Nic's Oval, sold in 2004, sorry to see it go. Nice reg plate!
The sunshine Bus, I miss this one at the shows.

A few little mods to turn this Resto-Cal into a Looker!
I miss my cabrio when the sun is out!, It was mint!

This Baja was so much fun! Real good condition too.

Ahh, My first beetle, rusty & bad mechanicals, sound familiar? That was 1994, I have come a long way since rebuilding this one!

This was my old daily toy. MK2, with 2.0L 8V motor, TSR head & cam, koni's & Yoko's. It goes, stops & handles great. The best car I have ever had!
The 'Juicy Fruit' Ghia was one of my favorites. What a stunner!

Here is another great car. Raw power & heaps of fun another must have for a serious collector. This ones gone... But one day another maybe?
Here is a rare beast. Built by Paul Jackson Turner & featured in VolksWorld many moons ago. There is masses of space inside & the most comfortable air-cooled VW I have ever been in. Shame it's in bits now, sat in a lockup somewhere...

Here is an old picture of a trick floorpan I did. Now under a show car, running around Surrey...

Here is one of my daily driver vans, I bought it to run about in while I was looking for a new work van. I drove it to Spa for the Belgium show. It's was a twin sliding door with auto box. Rare or what. It was sold on when I got the new van...

I bought this for a bit of fun & a run about but is now been sold. I had always wanted a silver 3 door GTi...

Here is onr of my current aircooled VW, it's a USA import LHD Westfailia, made in late 1969. It is undergoing a repaint to get rid of some dents. It will be nice when finished.

Here is the work horse, A 1.9 turbo diesel, lowered 55mm on 17's. An ideal parts chaser. Pimp my ride!
T3 Syncro. 4x4 with diff locks. 2.1 injection. This is one of the most fun VW's I have owned for a long time. They are fantastic off road. LPG conversion made it a bit cheaper to run too. Now sold.
I took this little bug in p/x against the Syncro. It looks a little rough around the edges but was rock solid. Someone had played with the engine to 1641cc & it really flew. The brakes were good too. All in all, not a bad car. Now sold.
Corrado 2.0l 16v. Wow what a car! One of the fastest & best driving VW's I have ever had, a quick tune up by the boys at "The Phirm" & it was silly quick. I would have loved to of kept this for a while, but someone wanted to buy it! Should have kept that one.
Go to project page. T3 turbo diesel. Another twin sliding door. A late model with lots of goodies. Power steering, central locking & big bumper model. I have started a mini project on this & will update the pics as I go. This was totaly stock a few weeks ago, but needed to get is camper friendly for the Budel show in Holland. 500 miles round trip, didn't miss a beat! I love it...
T3, 1.9 petrol. Another stock bus that I had to slam 60mm. 16" Granada Cosworth rims look the part as do the grilles. Barry at Kult Klassix fell in love with it & had to have it!
Barry's old GTi, forced in me in p/x for the silver T3. I sorted a few bits & gave it a bit of love before it was sold on. Not a bad car to be fair. Typical GTi, pulled like a train & handled like a cart. If you have never owned a GTi, go & get one now!

Incase you haven't seen it, this was my last air cooled ride. Built by my very own hand there is a whole page dedicated to its existence.

We bought a little Smart a couple of years ago As a total stocker. It wasn't long before I had to modify it. I still think this is one of the nicest looking Smarts around.

We sold the gold one to get a rag top, it looked good in it's black & silver coat, but is so much better in green!

Go to project page. The girlfriend is onto VW's too, she has been pining for another oval since the sale of her old blue '56 at the top of the page. I promised her that the next oval would be better than the last. I managed to get my hands on this. It has turned into a mini project, so a new project section is under way!

This is our latest addition. A 2002 Lupo 1.4 TDi Sport.

Another quick project for me. The paintwork was dull & unloved. A quick polish, lower suspension & a wheel change can make a hell of a difference. A fresh MOT & it was gone!
Another t25 Syncro. These are so much fun off road. Now sold to a new owner!
I bought this for a monster Baja project, but with too much to do have now sold it on.
